Freshly baked pastries served out of the oven each morning and redesigned menus – these are two of the big changes coming to Air Canada’s worldwide network of Maple Leaf Lounges. In the Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver – and soon, following its renovation – Calgary hub airports, a new team of executive chefs will oversee food preparation, including the launch of heartier dinner-hour fare, such as pastas and chili, and trendy items like Asian-style pho soup and quinoa salad. Meanwhile, tended bar service is available at Maple Leaf Lounges in Calgary, at London–Heathrow’s Terminal 2B and in the international terminal of Montréal–Trudeau.
Food and drinks are always free of charge at Air Canada’s lounges, which are open an average of 20 hours a day, every day. Adds Lynn Haroon, Manager, Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounges, “We’re happy to serve light snacks and meals that are healthy, fresh, flavourful and on trend.”
